Tampa, FL -- (Sports Network) - The Tampa Bay Buccaneers placed cornerback Torrie Cox and punter Dirk Johnson on injured reserve Monday, a day after both suffered season-ending injuries in a 20-17 loss to Atlanta.

The club also promoted cornerback Brandon Anderson from the practice squad and placed guard Arron Sears on the reserve/non-football related illness list.

Cox, who led the team in special teams tackles (17), injured his left hip and Johnson his left hamstring on an attempted fake punt in the fourth quarter.

Johnson punted 62 times in 11 games this year, posting a gross average of 41.3 yards per kick with just three touchbacks. He was also the team's holder on placekicks.
