SaltyTM Cares Nomination Criteria
August 15, 2004 through June 30, 2005
The Award Nomination is sponsored by: WMOR, Nissan, 1-800-Bar None, Burnetti P.A., Dannon, FMU, and Honda. There will be several winners over the next 10 months.
How to Enter:
E-mail: Register online at www.moretv32.com. Viewers will be instructed to complete the entry form. Include name, address, city, state, zip code and daytime phone required to enter for yourself and the your nominee. Your nomination should be a paragraph of 500 words or less stating why your candidate should be considered for the Award.
Those who do not have access to the Internet may enter by mail:
By Mail: Send a letter including: Name, Address, Date of Birth and Phone Number to: WMOR, 7201 E. Hillsborough Avenue, Tampa, FL 33610. Entries must be received by: 25th of each month.
Nomination committee of WMOR-TV will select potential candidates from all entries received. Limited to one entry per household.
Sponsor is not responsible or liable for lost, stolen, mutilated, incomplete, illegible, misdirected or non-delivered entries. All direct mailed and e-mailed entries must be postmarked by 25th of each month. All entries become property of Sponsor and will not be returned.
All nominees must meet the Eligibility and requirements outlined herein.
Each award recipient will be entered into a drawing to win a Cruise for 2 in 2005. More details to follow. All finalists will be featured on www.moretv32.com in August 2005. The Cruise will be awarded by the top number of votes received on the website for the featured Award Recipients August 2005. If you do not have access to the internet, send a letter or postcard to WMORTV32 with your selected vote. 1 Postcard per household, per vote by June 30, 2005.
Each prize package is valued at approximately $1000.00. There will be no substitutions.
WMOR-TV assumes no liability or responsibility in connection with the use of any prize awarded hereunder nor in connection with any warranty of representation therewith.
Prize Redemption/Claim/Releases: One winner per household. Prizes may be claimed by contacting WMOR on the 20th of the month. Unclaimed prizes will be forfeited. Compliance with all applicable federal and state laws, rules and regulations are the sole responsibility of the prize winner. The prize winner, by acceptance of a prize, agrees to release WMOR-TV, Hearst-Argyle Television, Inc., its parents, subsidiaries, affiliated companies, sponsors, advertising and promotion agencies, their immediate families, successors and assigns from any and all liability for claims, actions or proceedings for injuries or damages sustained in connection with the receipt, ownership or use of the prize or while traveling to, preparing for or participating in any sweepstakes-related activity. By entering the sweepstakes and winning a prize, contestants grant WMOR-TV, Hearst-Argyle Television, Inc., its parents, subsidiaries, affiliated companies, sponsors, advertising and promotion agencies, the right to use and publicize their name, photograph, voice or likeness and have accepted and agreed to be bound by these rules.
Eligibility: Nominees must be 25 years of age or older. Competition is open to US residents only. Employees of WMOR-TV, Hearst-Argyle Television, Inc., WMOR, Nissan, 1-800-Bar None, Burnetti P.A., Dannon, FMU, and Honda and its parents, subsidiaries, affiliated companies, sponsors, advertising and promotion agencies, judging agencies and their immediate families (spouses and children) are not eligible to participate. Nominees can be nominated monthly up to 12 times over the year, but can only be an award recipient once within a 12 month period. Nominee must have accomplished the nominated volunteer duties and activities within the Hillsborough, Citrus, Manatee, Hardee, DeSoto, Highlands, Pasco, Pinellas, Hernando, Polk, Sarasota counties. WMOR-TV reserves the right to disqualify any nominee if the nomination criteria are violated. WMOR-TV judgment as to such matters shall be final. No substitutions of prizes or transfer of prizes to a third party is permitted. Nominations for award recipients do not have to belong to any established charity organization, but can give substantially from their time and their personal financial investment over the course of a minimum period of 12 months.
Liability: WMOR-TV, Hearst-Argyle Television, Inc., WMOR, Nissan, 1-800-Bar None, Burnetti P.A., Dannon, FMU, and Honda its parents, subsidiaries, affiliated companies, sponsors, advertising and promotion agencies, are not responsible for:
- Problems associated with television transmission, radio transmission, cable transmission, phone lines, or Internet access that are beyond the control of WMOR-TV. This includes, but is not limited to, operator interference, cellular interference, technical or atmospheric conditions that disrupt the completion of the phone call or Internet access, or for technical difficulties which may prohibit the transmission of their television or radio signals to all or limited geographical areas during the playing of the sweepstakes.
- Typographical errors in any printed materials relating to the sweepstakes.
- WMOR-TV is the sole sponsor of Salty TM Cares Award competition. All decisions made by the management of WMOR-TV are final. Official Rules available at WMOR-TV Studios, 7201 East Hillsborough Avenue, Tampa, Florida 33610-4126. Official rules supersede all other published editions.
- WMOR-TV is not responsible for failures of computer hardware, software, internet, transmission or similar systems. Any attempt by an entrant to tamper with the proper administration of the contest, employing computer programming viruses or bugs, will disqualify the entrant and may result in the discontinuation of the contest.
